Preliminary Activity

Outline Idea-
My idea is going to be a short 1 minute clip involving two characters; character 1 making a cup of tea and asking character 2 if they wants one. This short moving picture will consist of different camera shots, angles and movements. 

Beginning - Character 1 shouting to character 2 if she wants a cup of tea.
Middle - Character 1 making the cup of tea.
End - Character 1  passing the tea to Character 2.


Shot List-
1.Establishing - Of kitchen
2.Long shot -  Character 1 walking into the kitchen.
3.Medium Long shot -  Walking towards the kettle, character 2 in background.
4.Low angle -  Looking up at character 1, getting 2 Cups.
5.Over the shoulder - going to pick up the Kettle.
6.Close up - Of Character 1's hand picking up the kettle.
7.Close up - Water going into the kettle.
8.Medium Close Up/ Pan - Putting the kettle down.
9.Extreme Close up -  Switching it on,
10.Long Shot - getting tea bags.
11.Close up - putting tea bag in the cup
12.2 shot - Both characters talking.
13.Over the shoulder - adding sugar.
14.Extreme Close up - Kettle Boiling
15.Medium Long shot - turning it off and picking it up
16.Long shot - Pouring water into cups
17.Over shoulder - Grabbing and adding milk.
18.High Angle - Stirring
19.Long Shot - Putting tea bag in sink/bin.
20.Medium Long shot - Giving tea to character 2.



Script - 
Character 1 - Walks into kitchen, Followed by character 2  Hiya, im just about to make a cuppa, want one?
Character 2 - Erm, yeah go on then. Ill be back in a sec
Character 1 - yeah yeah, that's fine. Your tea should be done by then.
Character 2 exits the room, while character 1 is making the tea.
Character 2 re-enters the room.
Character 1 - How many sugars?
Character 2 - 2 please.
Character 1 carries on making cup of tea. Once completed.
Character 1 - There you go.
Character 2 - That's perfect, Thanks.
