For some of my trailer, i would like to try out different soundtracks to see what works. For this I've asked permission off production companies and producers to be able to use there music.

Youtube trailers
These are some good trailer's of Drama,Thrillers which i would like mine to be. I am looking at these as i like the way they've used a montage of shots and put them all together all at ones to shows whats going on and how much happens in the film, This makes the audience want to watch them. I also like how they use a voice over, so even though the trailer is showing something else the voice over is telling the audience whats happening/gives off an atmosphere for the film.
Even though this is mainly a Sci-Fi, its sub-genres are Thriller and Drama. This trailer doesn't give too much away, yet with the use of non-diegetic and diegetic sound and editing with text and backgrounds cause an exciting feel to the film and makes people want to see it. I hope to use that technique in my trailer.
Final Destination -
This film is very like my narrative, except they are stopping and avoiding death. I also like how they show how much a lot of what happens and the main story line. For my trailer i also hope to show a lot of what happens in the film, without giving too much away. Key Scene.
Outline Idea for an opening scene for trailer.-
Esther and Gemma are running up stairs, Esther is shouting down to her mom asking where the funny pictures of James are, as they want to tease him. As Esther pulls out the box out from the top of her wardrobe a book falls out with it.
Shots -
Establishing - The house.
ELS - Inside the house
MCU - Their feet.
Low Angle LS - 2 girls running up the stairs
High Angle - Walking up the stairs and Esther looking down
CU/POV - Esther's face looking down the stairs.
LS - Running into Esther's Bedroom.
OSS - Running to the wardrobe.
MCU - At the wardrobe.
Two Shot - opening the wardrobe doors.
POV- Inside the wardrobe.
Low Angle - Esther grabbing box
MLS - Pulling box out.
MCU - Of Gemma pulling it out.

Planning for filming -
Date: Friday 24th October.
Time: 2PM - 5PM
Location: Inside my house.
Characters and Actors: Georgia Waldron as Esther
Elise Jones as Gemma
Hannah Melia as Esthers mom.
Setting/Props: It will take me around an hour to convert my parents bedroom to look like a 17 year old teenagers bedroom. I will use props such as make-up, vogue magazines, teddies, spotty bed sheets and flowers.

Character Profile
Actress: Georgia Waldron
Age of Actress: 16
Age of Character: 17
Gender: Female
Esther lives a good life. She's a part of the popular group, smart. However she is stubborn if she doesn't get what she wants and avoids getting involved with loads of drama.
Esther wants to grow up, she longs for the day she can leave home and adventure the world. However Esther is growing up way to fast. She likes to go out drinking and try and sneak into clubs with her best friend Gemma and meet older boys. She has a lot of pressure to be perfect by school, friends and family and tries to ignore this pressure by going out and doing things she shouldnt do. Most of this is influenced by her new best friend Gemma, the leader of there group. Them two become very close but Esther is still unsure if Gemma actually likes her.
Esther is stil trying to find herself, she's not sure who she really wants to be in life or what to do, she is constantly looking for reasons why things happen and answers to whats going to happen next in her life. But this determination ends up ruining her life.

Gemma is queen bee, all girls want to be her and all boys want to be with her. Except like Esther she wants to grow up. Gemma lives the perfect life. She owns a huge house, constantly has money, is the leader of the most popular group in school, has the best clothes and gets everything she wants.
Gemma introduced Esther into the group, they became friends through drama A-level and wanted her to join there friendship group. Gemma can also be stubborn like Esther, she doesn't show emotion so people don't really know where they stand with her, but Gemma actually really likes Esther, she thinks she's a genuine girl and really wants to be her friend.
Gemma enjoys her life, she is happy doing things she isn't meant to do and even though she is a bad influence on Esther, she doesn't care. Gemma has never had a true friend like Esther before and finds it confusing how she just wants to be her friend and not because she is cool and does all cool things. Gemma is insecure but no-one really knows, she doesn't want to know what happens next and whats to live life like its her last day, so when her only true friend discovers the future is worries her.

Treatment
Title: Unfolding
Production Company: Melia film studios
Production Team Members: Hannah Melia
Genre: Drama, Thriller, Fantasy
Synopsis: A girl called Esther finds a book, she soon finds out its about her whole life, She reads more and more of the book, even though her friend advice her not too. She starts messing with the future, but little does she know she is risking her life because of it.
Detailed narrative outline: Esther is looking through her room when she discovers a book. Esther takes the book down to her mom, When her mom see's her with it she demands her to put the book back where she found it and to forget about it. Against her mom's will she opens the book and starts reading it, she starts to realise she is reading her life story, confused by this she calls Gemma and explains everything however Gemma thinks she;s making it up in her head. Esther flicks through pages reading more and more into the book, when she finds out the Gemma is hit by a car the day she's planned to go on holiday. That day arrives and Esther sets out to stop her best friend from dying. She is on the way to her house when she see's her in best friend about to cross the a main road, Esther runs out of the car and pushes Gemma out of the road and stops her from getting hit. However because of this the that was meant to hit Gemma crashed into a school bus killing many children and when Esther goes back to the book as new chapter randomly appears talking about the car hitting the school bus. Traumatised by the whole thing Esther tells Gemma she's been reading the book and that's how she knew everything was going to happen. Gemma tells her she cant read any more of the book and cant change the future as more bad this will happen.
Not listening to Gemma's wise words Esther carries on reading the book and she finds out an older boy (named Cameron) who she's has had a crush on for along time asks her out, excited by this she decides not to read any more as she wants it to be a surprise. Weeks later and Esther and Cameron have been going out for a long time. Esther is so happy with how things are she wants to see what the future holds for her and Cameron and reads the book, she finds out Cameron has been cheating on her and that he gets very controlling and beats her, Esther is shocked by this and goes to stop there relationship before its too late, but when she dumps him Cameron turns nasty and beat her up anyway and leave Esthers in hospital. However Cameron mortified by the fact he hurt someone that bad, he kills himself.
When Gemma goes to visit Esther in hospital, she notices a change in Esther. Esther is begging her to get the book as she is worried more and more bad things as going to happen that she needs to stop. Gemma is worried about Esther and decided to get the book but not for Esther but to destroy it so she wont get into any more trouble. Gemma gets the book and burns the book but when she goes back to tell Esther the book is gone, Esther is no where to be seen and no record of her existence.
Intended Target Audience: Young Adults and Teenagers (C2DE) Aged around 15 - 25.
Both Males and Female, however it will mainly aim at females as they enjoy drama's alittle more. My audience will be the types of people who like TV Drama's that have big exciting twists (E.g Hollyoaks) and films like The Pact.
